The Casa de la Cultura de Itagüí, built in 1956 on the former grounds of the Hacienda Ditaires belonging to the philanthropist Diego Echavarría Misas, is the cultural landmark of the south of the municipality. Designed by the architect Eduardo Caputti, it was turned into a house of culture in 1995 to promote the arts within the community.
Take part in art, dance, music, theatre and literature workshops, attend cultural activities and exhibitions, learn the history of the Ditaires hacienda.
