Parque Principal y Sillas de Colores (Jardín)

Unanimously considered one of the most beautiful towns in Colombia, the Parque El Libertador of Jardín is a National Monument. It is dominated by the monumental Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (built in hand-carved stone from the local quarries). The square is known worldwide for its hundreds of hand-painted wooden chairs in vibrant colour combinations in front of the traditional cafés.

Sit in the coloured chairs with freshly ground single-origin coffee, look at the architecture of the Gothic basilica, try traditional sweets at the Casa de los Dulces and taste fresh trout raised in the rivers of the mountain range.
